Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, founded on April 4, 1907, was the first church organized in Mukilteo. Nine women and four men made up the original congregation. MPC's ministry continued in the old town Mukilteo location until the early 2000s. At that time, MPC initiated the move to its current location on Nelson Hill in Mukilteo, after purchasing a nearly five acre lot from the Nelson Family, who had previously farmed it. The first worship service on the current property was held on Christmas Eve in 2004.
